Married, with two adult children, both graduates of Lexington Public schools. We have lived in Lexington for thirty years. Our family is completed by our dog, and two cats. Running, hiking, reading and a strong cup of chai with friends are my favorite hobbies when not puzzling over some aspect of our schools or town.   • Completed fellowship at the Ash Center, Harvard Kennedy School of Government as a Democracy Visiting Fellow.

  • Organized an essay writing competition for grades 3-12 in Lexington to the prompt “My Truth Is …”

  • Organized the first meeting to create a sisterhood of Sikh-Punjabi women in Massachusetts, a ‘Trinjhan’
